Causes We Support

The Cecilia Rawlins Fund (CRF) was established to honor esteemed principal Cecilia Rawlins, who retired in 2007 after 15 years at the helm of Wiley International Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Ms. Rawlins selflessly provided assistance to families in need throughout her career and believed in nurturing the whole child. This fund is to ensure her commitment to our children and families continues at Wiley.

Since 2001, Caring Community Foundation has provided nearly 2.3 million in emergency financial assistance to cancer patients in need. The help we give is only possible because of the generosity of people like you—some of whom were affected by cancer themselves and some who simply understand the power of making a difference in the lives of others.

The SPCA of Wake County (SPCA Wake) helps pets and people in over half of the counties across NC through collaborative partnerships. SPCA Wake is an animal welfare agency headquartered in Raleigh, NC. Donations keep families together, make frontline rescue work possible, and save pets and people in crisis across NC.

For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, a wish come true can be a crucial turning point in their lives. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. This impact is why we are driven to make every one of these wishes come true.

Meals on Wheels has been guided by a single goal since the first known U.S. delivery by a small group of Philadelphia citizens in 1954 – to support our senior neighbors to extend their independence and health as they age. What started as a compassionate idea has grown into one of the largest and most effective social movements in America, currently helping nearly 2.4 million seniors annually in virtually every community in the country.

The National Park Foundation, the official charitable partner of the National Park Service, enriches America’s national parks and programs through the support of private citizens, park lovers, stewards of nature, history enthusiasts, and wilderness adventurers. Chartered by Congress in 1967, the Foundation grew out of a legacy of park protection that began over a century ago, when ordinary citizens took action to establish and protect our national parks.
